How do i make the forerunner beep after every mile? And when I do how do I change the beep it makes? thANKS
also, how do i get my mile splits?

On startup a message came up saying maps are over a year old and i should update.
Do you think i need to or can it wait a few years?

How to upload maps to a garmin gps using a usb cable?

i have a garmin nuvi 205, y plug in the cable and there are a bunch of folders and files… i know the file must be a .gz, but that’s it… where do i have to put that .gz file? do i have to name it something specific?
i haven’t tried with the micro sd card… is it the same?
but i’ve found lots of pages to download maps! i’ve even downloaded a bunch of them!
