I have the nuvi 205 and I just luv it!
Your choice is actually between the 205 (or 205W for widescreen) and the 255 (or255W). While the 250 may still be available at some retailers, Garmin has discontinued it.
There are two major differences between the 205 and 255, beside the price. The 205 provides maps for the lower 48 states, while the 255 has them for all of North America. The 255 speaks street names while giving directions, while the 205 does not.
