My Garmin Nuvi 205 GPS no longer has a voice. The volume is turned all the way up…no mute. Is this an update?

you may have to download the voices. Call the Garmin tech support or go to http://www.garmin.com.
A majority of the time, problems like this can be fixed but updating the firmware for the receiver. If you don’t already have Garmin’s Web Updater, download it from the website below. It’ll check to make sure that you have the most up-to-date software and can also update voices as well.
