How do i make the forerunner beep after every mile? And when I do how do I change the beep it makes? thANKS

I don’t believe there are multiple beeps from which you can choose. Also keep in mind that when you run in the “real world,” you’ll tend to run about 1% beyond the official distance. In other words, a mile measured by the Garmin is what you’ve actually run, but in a mile race you’d likely weave, maybe have a wide turn or two, etc., and you’d actually run 1.01 miles according to the Garmin. Anyway, if you do use things like splits, take them with a grain of salt, and don’t be surprised if the Garmin appears to measure “long” in real-world road racing — it’s just measuring what you actually run.
