i have a garmin nuvi 205, y plug in the cable and there are a bunch of folders and files… i know the file must be a .gz, but that’s it… where do i have to put that .gz file? do i have to name it something specific?
i haven’t tried with the micro sd card… is it the same?
but i’ve found lots of pages to download maps! i’ve even downloaded a bunch of them!
Get the Garmin webupdater here:

Install it on your computer. You will be able to get product updates for free. Maps on the other hand are not free.

maps are going to cost you. this is the price that you have to pay when owning a garmin.
