You’ve said nothing about what you expect from a GPS, so it’s hard for anyone to say if this is the perfect model for you. There are a LOT of choices out there. The Nuvi line in general and the 760 specifically are nice products. As the 760 is a discontinued model, you should be able to find these at bargain prices if you’re OK with the compromises that it may not have the latest maps, may or may not be elgible for a free map update upon opening, etc.
On your last point, we don’t know what country you’re in, whether you prefer to buy from a retailer, online, a refurb, whether price is your primary factor, etc.

Pros: routing engine seems very good, multi-destination routing optimization, good POI database, more map updates compared to competition, great user interface
Cons: touch screen is not very sensitive, outdated map data, FM transmitter is useless, expensive
