I ordered this item thinking I would save a couple of dollars compared to the exorbitant price at the Garmin Website. Unfortunately it does not fit my Nuvi 885T. It does fit another older Garmin 265WT that I had, but I already have a friction mount for that. I doubt that it fits all of the model numbers in the list. Be careful when you are ordering this or you will wind up paying a 10% restocking fee and postage.

I would highly suggest not purchasing this item if you are buying to use with the Nuvi 765T. The ball is too large for easy mounting and you could ruin your unit trying to attach.

Unless you flip your car over, this mount will not move.
It’s heavy and a little sticky on the bottom. We got this thing to replace the sunction mount that wouldn’t stay in place.
Note that this unit does not come with the brack that holds the GPS. You can use the one that came with your GPS or you have to buy another one.
We did struggle to get the ball of the mount into the bracket. As another review hinted to, it seems too big. You just have to force it in there without breaking the bracket or anything on the bracket.

I bought this for my Garmin 755T…works great on my Camry Hybrid dash…no slip, no slide. Ball seems a little large, but believe it has to be to keep GPS from shaking too much. Just turn GPS mount as you insert ball. Would buy again…

Works fine for where I wanted to put it. I leave it on the console by the transmission shifter when in use and easily hidden from view when not in use.
